Ant Group Wins CCF Scientific and Technological Awards for AI Anti‑Fraud System and Blockchain Data Privacy Technology

China Computer Federation (CCF) announced the 2021 CCF Scientific and Technological Award winners, granting Ant Group two honors: the Excellence Award for the "Ant Anti‑Fraud Intelligent Risk Perception and Response System" and the Outstanding Award for the "Blockchain Data Privacy Protection Technology Based on Trusted Execution Environment".

The anti‑fraud system departs from traditional passive risk control by employing a proactive, interactive approach that leverages Ant's self‑developed "full‑graph risk control" technology. It analyzes massive transaction data to identify fraud gangs, predicts suspicious accounts before fraud occurs, and integrates an AI‑driven "wake‑up hotline" that uses intent recognition, voice emotion analysis, and reinforcement learning to engage potential victims, protecting an average of ¥15 million in funds daily.

The system also generates automatically explainable AI decision reports, enabling developers to trace risk attribution and understand fraud tactics, thereby increasing user trust in the automated decisions.

The blockchain privacy solution combines cryptography with trusted hardware to create a flexible, high‑efficiency on‑chain data privacy architecture. Each node can independently execute privacy transactions, providing end‑to‑end lifecycle protection while minimizing computational overhead.

This technology has been commercialized at scale across more than ten scenarios—including finance, insurance, education, and IoT—and its underlying research has been published at top conferences such as ACM SIGMOD 2020 and IEEE ICDE 2021. It also became the world’s first international standard for on‑chain data privacy protection.

In the past four years, Ant Group has secured 231 globally authorized patents related to blockchain hardware privacy protection.
