The summit highlighted the milestone release of Apache Doris 2.0, which introduced an adaptive parallel execution model, a new query optimizer, and delivered 10‑20× performance gains in various workloads, as well as expanded support for lake‑warehouse integration, high‑concurrency point queries, and real‑time data ingestion.
Community contributions have grown to nearly 600 developers with over 120 active monthly contributors, making Doris one of the most active open‑source projects in the big‑data and database space, and its user base now exceeds 4,000 enterprises across finance, internet, energy, manufacturing, and telecom.
Key industry case studies were presented, including Meituan’s deployment of nearly 200 clusters handling over a billion daily queries, UnionPay’s real‑time data warehouse achieving 2‑15× performance improvements, and China Post Bank’s fraud‑detection platform reducing report latency from days to seconds.
Future directions emphasized real‑time analytics, unified multi‑load support, and cloud‑native capabilities, with products such as SelectDB Cloud and SelectDB Enterprise delivering storage‑compute separation and seamless integration on major cloud providers.
