BootROM File Management and SD Card Boot Configuration Procedure

Step 1: Check the device's flash for system files by pressing Ctrl+B within three seconds during startup to enter the BootROM main menu, selecting option 5 (File Manager), and confirming that no system software exists in flash, indicating it resides on the SD card.

Step 2: The SD card was found missing; after inserting a new SD card, upload the system software to the SD card via FTP from the BootROM menu.

Step 3: Configure the uploaded file as the boot file. In the BootROM main menu, select option 4 (Startup Select), then choose option 2 (Set Boot File), select SDCard[1] , and enter the filename sd1:/softwarenew.cc . Confirm the change, return to the main menu, and select option 1 (Default Startup) to reboot the device successfully.

Recommendation: When the device uses an SD card to store system software, enforce strict management policies to prevent the SD card from being removed.
