Bootstrap 4.6.0 released.
The biggest change in v4.6.0 is a major adjustment to the development environment to align with the upcoming official v5 release. The team states that the v4.x documentation is now built on the Hugo framework, which, compared with the previously used static site generator Jekyll, means v4.x no longer depends on Ruby, improving maintainability between major versions, speeding up development, and greatly reducing build time.
Bootstrap v4.6.0 main updates include:
Tooltips and popovers can now be given custom categories via the customClass option.
A new class .navbar-nav-scroll is added for scrolling extended navigation bar content on mobile devices.
To improve accessibility, prefers-reduced-motion now slows down the animation when the user has enabled reduced motion.
v4.x documentation is now built on the Hugo framework for easier maintenance and back‑porting from v5.x.
background-color and .dropdown-item are darkened to improve contrast on hover, and the disabled .dropdown-item color is strengthened.
Form validation tooltip alignment has been improved.
File input no longer overflows its container.
