China’s Top Enterprises Reveal Latest DevOps Maturity Assessment Results

Event Overview

On April 26, 2022, the GNSEC Global Next‑Generation Software Engineering Summit was held online, co‑organized by the DAOPS Foundation, Cloud Computing Open Source Industry Alliance (OSCAR), FinOps Alliance, GreatOPS, and DevOps Era. The summit focused on defining the next generation of software engineering, sharing cutting‑edge research, and fostering collaboration among industry, academia, and research experts.

Key Announcement

The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) announced the 17th batch of DevOps Continuous Delivery assessment results and the 4th batch of System and Tools assessment results.

Evaluated Enterprises and Projects

The following enterprises and their projects successfully passed the CAICT "Research‑Development‑Operations Integration (DevOps) Capability Maturity Model" continuous delivery assessment:

China International Capital Corp: CICC Equity Incentive Management Platform, Luban Digital Employee Service Platform, CICC Institutional Client Service Platform‑cicsp, AIIS Xinghai Platform (Level 3)

China Tai Securities Co., Ltd.: XTP Admin System (Level 3)

ZTE Corp: ZTE 5G Converged CDN Project with China Mobile (Level 3)

iSoftStone Information Technology (Group) Co., Ltd.: iPaaS Technology Middleware Project (Level 3)

Beijing Gas Group Co., Ltd.: Tongzhou Call Center Construction Project (Level 2)

Additionally, China CICC Wealth Securities Co., Ltd. passed the DevOps Platform "Pipeline Module" assessment at the Excellent level.

About the DevOps Capability Maturity Model

The "Research‑Development‑Operations Integration (DevOps) Capability Maturity Model" series of standards were led by CAICT and co‑created with the Cloud Computing Open Source Industry Alliance, GreatOPS, BATJ, and major internet, financial, and telecommunications companies. It is the first domestic and international DevOps series standard, officially concluded by the ITU‑T in July 2020. The assessment framework covers six areas: agile development management, continuous delivery, technical operation, application design, security and risk management, and system & tools.
