Preface

Spend five minutes to acquire a new skill: making a dazzling flash‑style video for your project using only Keynote or PowerPoint, without learning complex software.

Background

In a previous UXD half‑year report, a five‑minute flash video won a 6,000‑yuan prize. The article will also provide the original PPT source files for download and learning.

What Is a Quick‑Flash PPT?

A quick‑flash PPT is a short, high‑tempo animation or video composed of rapid slide transitions and effects. The concept originated from the fast‑paced animations in Apple’s iPhone 7 launch event in September 2016 and quickly became a trend in the PPT community.

Creation Method

1. Script Planning

Write down the full script, break it into concise sentences, and distribute each sentence onto separate slides. Keep the text brief and smooth.

2. Add Media

Insert short video clips or GIFs to avoid visual fatigue and enhance the atmosphere.

3. Set Transitions and Timing

Use simple, fast animations. Set each slide’s transition to Auto (instead of “On Click”) and adjust the delay to 0.3‑0.7 seconds, typically 0.5‑0.7 seconds for readability.

4. Choose Music

Select a fast‑paced, strong‑beat track—often called “卡点音乐”—to give the PPT its rhythmic drive. The music can loop or be split across slides.

5. Export as Video

Remove all transition waiting times, then export the presentation as a video file directly from Keynote. The settings are straightforward.

Small Exercise

Try creating a simple flash PPT: three black‑background slides each showing one character with a 0.1‑0.2 second delay, followed by a white‑background slide with inverted text.

Two possible methods are provided—one using separate slides for each character, the other using appearance/disappearance effects on a single slide.

Bonus

For those who need the original flash video source files, reply “快闪” to the official WeChat account to receive them.
