The term 黑话 (literally “secret language”) originally referred to coded speech used by secret societies. In modern internet industry it denotes jargon that is opaque to outsiders, often employed to obscure meaning or to sound sophisticated.

抓手 (Grab Hand)

对齐颗粒度 (Alignment Granularity)

Describes the desired level of detail alignment across teams or processes. The phrase is intentionally abstract; it suggests that teams should synchronize their granularity of work, but provides no measurable criteria, making it understandable only intuitively.

中台 (Middle Platform)

Originated in large tech firms to separate front‑end (web, PC, mobile) from back‑end services (e.g., Java, Go). As business scope expanded, companies introduced business and data middle platforms to extract shared services, enabling resource sharing and unified scheduling. Over time, the middle platform grew in size and complexity, leading some enterprises to de‑platform and adopt simpler architectures.

赋能 (Empowerment)

Often appears in the pattern “用 X 给 Y 赋能” (use X to empower Y). It implies that a technology—commonly AI—magically transforms a product or process, but the term itself provides no technical detail about the mechanism of improvement.

Implications

These buzzwords serve to wrap ordinary concepts in opaque language, making them sound modern while obscuring concrete meaning. The prevalence of such jargon is expected to increase rather than disappear, as it fulfills both internal communication shortcuts and external impression management.
