Deploy a Palworld Dedicated Server on Alibaba Cloud in Minutes

Palworld, the popular survival game by Pocketpair, has surged in popularity with nearly two million concurrent players. Alibaba Cloud offers a private dedicated server solution that ensures stable gameplay, friend‑based multiplayer, and customizable options such as double experience.

Three Simple Steps

1. Create Cloud Server

Log in to the Alibaba Cloud game server portal using DingTalk or Alipay to register a new account (new users receive generous discounts). Visit the dedicated page at https://developer.aliyun.com/topic/ecs/huanshou and click “Quick Deploy” to start the instance creation.

Alibaba Cloud pre‑configures most game requirements, including opening UDP port 8211 and installing the game environment, so the process takes only a few clicks.

2. Choose Configuration

Instance name (default is fine).

Select deployment region nearest to you.

Choose billing period (monthly is typical; three‑month plans offer larger discounts).

Select hardware: at least 16 GB RAM and a 4‑core CPU; unlimited fixed bandwidth is recommended for low latency.

Recommended specifications:

Entry‑level (4‑8 players): e series, 4 vCPU, 16 GB RAM, 3 M fixed bandwidth.

Immersive (10‑16 players): u1 series, 4 vCPU, 32 GB RAM, 10 M fixed bandwidth.

Set a server password (remember it for later) and accept the default zone, then confirm the order.

3. Server Creation

After payment, open the instance details page. The Palworld server installer is already baked into the image, so no manual copying is needed. Locate the “Palworld Server Address:Port” field, copy the displayed IP address.

Connect in Game

Launch Palworld, select “Multiplayer (Dedicated Server)”, and replace the default 127.0.0.1 address with the copied IP:port. Create your character and start your Palworld adventure with friends.
