At the Alibaba Cloud Annual Open‑Source Release Forum on November 1, Zhengcai Cloud technical platform expert Xie Shouyu delivered a keynote titled “Zhengcai Cloud Dubbo3 Upgrade Practice,” sharing the team’s experience of migrating to the Dubbo3 service framework.
As the most extensive, user‑dense, and transaction‑heavy procurement cloud platform in the government‑enterprise sector, Zhengcai Cloud requires extremely high system stability; to cope with growing user numbers and increasing business complexity, the technical team upgraded Dubbo to boost RPC (Remote Procedure Call) performance.
Prior to the upgrade, the test environment hosted over 200 applications, more than 700 Pods, and more than 5,600 interfaces. Through extensive research, technical analysis, and community collaboration, the team upgraded to Dubbo 3.1.8 in the first half of 2023, achieving a smooth, lossless migration and preserving system stability throughout the process.
