China Minsheng Bank’s “Centralized Operation Business Processing System” project passed the CAICT’s “R&D‑Operations Integration (DevOps) Capability Maturity Model – Technical Operations Standard” assessment at Level 2, marking the bank as the first joint‑stock bank to achieve this domestic advanced level.
Interview Highlights
Deputy General Manager Lv Xiaoqiang explained that the assessment validated the bank’s technical‑operation capabilities, highlighted cross‑team collaboration, and identified areas for improvement such as capacity planning and user experience. The DevOps Capability Maturity Model, led by CAICT and co‑created with major internet, finance, and telecom firms, is the first domestic and international DevOps series standard, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the ITU‑T in 2020.
