Information Standard Construction Action Plan (2024‑2027)

On May 29, 2024, the Central Cyberspace Administration, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology jointly issued the Action Plan, emphasizing the internationalization of information standards, active participation in ISO, IEC, ITU, and aligning national standards with international benchmarks.

CAICT’s Dual DevOps Assessment

The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) launched a synchronized assessment based on the ITU DevOps international standard and the domestic DevOps standard, enabling mutual recognition of certifications. The assessment scope, certificates, and reports have been fully upgraded to meet the Action Plan’s requirements and current enterprise needs.

GOPS Global Operations Conference

On June 28, 2024, the 23rd GOPS Global Operations Conference & XOps Technology Innovation Summit in Beijing announced the dual‑certificate results for the ITU DevOps international standard and the domestic DevOps standard.

Agricultural Bank’s Digital Twin Platform

The Agricultural Bank of China’s “Digital Twin Platform” successfully passed the ITU DevOps international standard assessment and the domestic DevOps Level‑3 Continuous Delivery assessment, demonstrating that the bank’s related capabilities have reached a leading domestic level.

Assessment Statistics

To date, the Agricultural Bank has passed 34 CAICT DevOps standard assessments, including 2 Agile Management, 13 Continuous Delivery, 2 Technical Operations, 1 Application Design, 14 DevSecOps, and 2 Continuous Testing evaluations.

ITU DevOps International Standard

The ITU‑DevOps international standard project was initiated in Geneva in July 2018, involving representatives from more than 20 countries. In July 2020, the ITU‑T Y.3525 standard “Cloud Computing – Requirements for cloud service development and operation management” was approved, establishing an international standard for cloud service development and operations.

Domestic DevOps Standard

The “DevOps Capability Maturity Model” series of standards was led by CAICT together with the Cloud Computing Open‑Source Industry Alliance, Efficient Operations Community, BATJ, and major financial, telecom, and internet enterprises. The standards have been issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and adopted by many leading firms. The model covers processes (Agile Management, Continuous Delivery, Technical Operations), application design, security and risk management, system and tools, business value management, collaborative development and operations, continuous testing, performance measurement, platform engineering, and reliability engineering.
