Successful gaming not only considers one's own interests but also the ability to anticipate the opponent's choices. For example, in negotiations, understanding the other party's needs and limits leads to win‑win outcomes, a higher‑order skill in game theory.

Neighbourhood Interaction Example

Two neighbors, A and B, have conflicting preferences: A likes playing loud music at night, while B prefers quiet. If both respect each other (A lowers volume, B tolerates some noise), they achieve a relatively comfortable environment. If A plays loudly and B retaliates by pounding walls or complaining, both end up unhappy.
