The eSDK serves as an open platform linking Huawei cloud products with the ArcGIS portal, exposing cloud application templates, virtual machine management, cluster services, and resource monitoring, allowing ArcGIS to leverage Huawei's pooled management features.

For example, setting a VM CPU threshold at 70% triggers the addition of new VMs under high demand, maintaining load balance and optimal GIS performance; real‑time monitoring provides resource statistics, helping users make informed investment decisions.

Using Huawei's eSDK dramatically improves coordination between ArcGIS and Huawei Cloud; the Huawei Remote Lab enables continuous online device availability, allowing Esri projects to be completed without travel and reducing overall execution costs.

The eSDK's high‑efficiency invocation model has been deployed in multiple projects, including at Hehai University, Henan University, the PLA Information Engineering University, and the Ningbo Planning Bureau's cloud GIS platform.
