Implementing an ACL Using Command Line and Web Interface

This guide demonstrates how to configure an access control list (ACL) with specific deny rules, traffic classifiers, behaviors, and policies on an internal interface, and notes that the same setup can be created easily via a web page.

Implementing an ACL Using Command Line and Web Interface

Use an ACL to implement the following configuration:

acl nu 3000
rule deny ip destination 10.10.10.10 0
traffic classifier a
if-match acl 3000
traffic behavior b
deny
traffic policy c
classifier a behavior b
interface g0/0/1 // internal network interface

Apply the traffic policy to the inbound direction of the interface: traffic-policy c inbound The same configuration can also be created through the web page, which is relatively simple.
