Today, the Global Cloud Computing Open Source Conference kicked off in Beijing, gathering over 2,000 attendees and featuring Huawei as a top sponsor.

Huawei’s OpenStack & Container Open Source Ecosystem General Manager Jiang Xiaoli presented “Joint Innovation, Accelerating Industry Digital Transformation,” highlighting how cloud‑plus‑open‑source drives rapid digital transformation, with FusionCloud’s trusted hybrid‑cloud architecture supporting SAP, HPC, IoT, DevOps, and other enterprise workloads.

Standard Open Source Community Operations Manager Huang Zhipeng discussed the history and roadmap of the OpenSDS project, which was founded under the Linux Foundation in 2016, outlining its technical vision, current development status, and future milestones.

Senior Architect Ma Quanyi introduced Huawei’s Cloud‑Native DevOps Orchestration concept, demonstrating the open‑source ContainerOps project (https://github.com/Huawei/containerops) and explaining how traditional DevOps processes can smoothly transition to the new orchestration model.

Cloud Computing Technical Expert Xiao Honghui delivered “SDN in OpenStack,” explaining the critical role of network control in scaling compute clusters for both traditional and virtualized data centers, and providing an overview of various SDN projects within OpenStack to guide deployment choices.
