OPPO Releases White Paper on Mobile Application Trustworthy Technology at CAICT ICT+ Deep Observation Conference

On December 28, 2024, the 2024 CAICT ICT+ Deep Observation Report Shanghai Branch Session and "Hongqiao Source" Large Model Driven Digital Economy New Ecosystem Summit was successfully held in Shanghai Changning. Themed "Intelligent Emergence, Innovation Ecosystem," the event gathered top experts from industry, academia, research, and application to explore cutting-edge technological innovations and practical applications of large language models (LLMs).

OPPO released the "Mobile Application Trustworthy Technology Research White Paper," providing the latest insights on "Large Models - Intelligent Terminals - Software Security." The white paper analyzes different security risks faced at each stage of the App lifecycle (development-delivery-operation-maintenance), summarizing the development of mobile application security trustworthy technology from policy regulations, technological progress, patent standards, and industry development perspectives.

During the conference, OPPO's Terminal Security General Manager Wang Anyu delivered a keynote speech on "Application Scenarios and Evolution of Large Models on Terminals." He emphasized that intelligent terminals have deeply integrated into people's work and life, bringing richer experiences. The combination of large models and communications will enhance intelligent connection experiences, enabling more interesting interactions, more creative expressions, and context-based understanding, while meeting the needs from mobile office to intelligent office.

The editorial committee noted that recent breakthrough advancements in LLMs, particularly in semantic understanding, pattern recognition, and complex data structure comprehension, will drive the application of LLMs in software security processing. The white paper aims to help society comprehensively understand the connotation and current status of mobile application trustworthy technology, explore secure and comprehensive application trustworthy technology systems, emphasize standardized and detailed software security maintenance during development, and accelerate the development of intelligent and automated application vulnerability mining and security detection tools.
