As Double 11 approaches, the Data/Technology Department of Home University’s Internet College organized a technical architecture practice session featuring senior architects Wang Song and Li Yan from the New Car E‑commerce Division.

Wang Song introduced the Car Mall red‑packet system, explaining its construction from diverse usage scenarios, key components, technology choices, and implementation details. He emphasized solutions for high‑traffic, high‑concurrency red‑packet queries and shared numerous pitfalls and experiences encountered during the system’s architectural evolution.

Li Yan described the evolution of Auto Home’s Double 11 main‑venue platform. He outlined how the team tackled traffic spikes, development cost, and code reuse during the venue’s reconstruction, and presented typical optimization cases for the promotion, including on‑demand loading for all floors and server‑side rendering that boosted first‑screen data initialization speed by 80%.

The two‑hour knowledge‑sharing session was highly practical, with an engaging atmosphere. The presenters meticulously prepared their PPTs and rehearsed, creating an immersive experience that encouraged active participation and lively Q&A, inviting attendees to continue technical exchanges on the Home University platform.

Finally, thanks were given to the New Car E‑commerce Division’s Technical Director Li Yanjun for the opening remarks, to Wang Song for the talk “Car Mall Red‑Packet System Architecture Evolution in Practice”, and to Li Yan for the talk “Auto Home Double 11 Main‑Venue Technical Architecture in Practice”. The organizers look forward to the next sharing event.
