On June 7, 2023, the IDCF Community and the Zhuhai Software Engineering Technology Research Center jointly held the first technical salon of the Zhuhai Software Engineering Research Center at Beijing Institute of Technology Zhuhai College, attracting more than 80 attendees.
The event, themed “AI New Technologies Impact on the Software Industry,” featured speeches by IDCF co‑founder Xu Lei, officials from the Zhuhai Science and Technology Development Promotion Association, the Zhuhai Software Association, and university leaders, all discussing how artificial intelligence is reshaping software engineering.
The ceremony began with the unveiling of the Zhuhai Software Engineering Research Center, followed by a keynote titled “AI New Technologies Impact on the Software Industry” delivered by Xu Lei, chief architect/CEO of LE ANSOFT, Microsoft MVP, and DevOps expert. Xu highlighted AI‑assisted programming, algorithm design, and testing, emphasizing both the powerful advantages of AI and the challenges developers face.
