SQL Audit Tool SQLE 2.2306.0‑pre3 has been released. SQLE is an open‑source SQL audit platform for database users and administrators, supporting multiple audit scenarios, a standardized workflow, native MySQL auditing, and extensible to other database types with more than 700 built‑in rules.
The project resources include the GitHub repository ( https://github.com/actiontech/sqle ), documentation site ( https://actiontech.github.io/sqle-docs/ ), release page, plugin development guide, and online demo environments for the community edition (admin/admin) and enterprise edition (admin/admin).
New Features – Community Edition
1. Baidu Cloud RDS MySQL slow‑log intelligent scanning. Users can create a scanning task for a high‑availability RDS instance with slow‑log enabled, configure instance ID, Access Key, Access Secret Key, log time range, and other parameters, then submit the task to collect and audit slow SQL statements. Screenshots illustrate the task creation UI and result views.
2. Online SQL formatting. When creating a ticket, users can click the "SQL Beautify" button to automatically format long SQL statements for better readability. Screenshots show the input area before and after formatting.
New Features – Enterprise Edition
1. DB2 audit now generates rollback statements, allowing users to view the corresponding rollback SQL for any DB2 audit result.
2. DB2 audit supports SQL context. When multiple SQL statements are submitted, the platform simulates execution of preceding statements to provide context‑aware audit feedback, preventing false alarms such as "table does not exist" for subsequent statements.
