China accelerates IPv6 adoption : The Central Cyberspace Administration announced a plan to reach by the end of 2022 – 700 million active IPv6 users, 180 million IoT IPv6 connections, over 13% of traffic on IPv6, 45% of mobile traffic on IPv6, 85% of government and major commercial sites on IPv6, and default IPv6 enablement in all new home routers.

The ten‑point plan encourages cloud providers, video streaming, finance, agriculture, and other key industries to adopt IPv6, aiming to boost network security and next‑generation internet standards.
