From April 13‑15, the openEuler Developer Day 2022 (ODD 2022) was held both offline and online under the theme “Creating the Future Together, openEuler More Exciting”. The event aimed to promote openEuler’s technology exploration and innovation across servers, cloud computing, edge computing and embedded scenarios.

Release of the first long‑term, full‑scenario digital‑infrastructure version openEuler 22.03 LTS.
Eight partners announced commercial distribution plans based on openEuler 22.03 LTS.
The openEuler ecosystem service platform was launched, with the first 13 partners and 15 products/solutions validated.
The community contribution dashboard went live.
Main Forum Highlights
Speeches by OpenAtom Foundation Secretary‑General Sun Wenlong and openEuler Community Chair Jiang Dayong introduced the community’s growth, the 330+ partners, over 470 000 downloads and more than 55 000 merged PRs.
Technical Committee Chair Hu Xinwei presented “openEuler 22.03 LTS: New Journey, New Future”, demonstrating six industry‑scenario demos (server, cloud, embedded, edge, HarmonyOS integration, and LibcarePlus hot‑patch).

Unified Linux Kernel 5.10 with three previously commercial‑validated innovations.
Four scenario‑specific system images with unified kernel, build, SDK, connectivity and development tools.
Distributed soft‑bus enabling self‑discovery between openEuler and HarmonyOS devices.
Support for diverse architectures such as Kunpeng, Feiteng, Shenwei, Loongson and Zhaoxin.
Partner Presentations
Representatives from China Telecom Tianyi Cloud, China Mobile Online Marketing Service Center, Unicom Cloud, CITIC Bank, Shanghai Stock Exchange and others shared their openEuler‑based innovations, including large‑scale deployments, digital‑infrastructure foundations and joint R&D projects.
Community Ecosystem
The ecosystem service platform now hosts 13 partners with 15 validated solutions, and a certification ceremony recognized the first batch of partners.
Technical Sessions
Fifty‑one SIG groups held 12‑hour online planning meetings covering Kernel, CloudNative, OpenStack, Virt, DB, iSulad, Migration, Packaging, Infrastructure, Yocto and more, defining the next version’s roadmap.
Round‑Table Discussions
Topics included multi‑architecture OS ecology, cloud‑native and virtualization, edge & embedded, security, big data and DevKit tools, with participation from Huawei, RISC‑V and other industry leaders.
