The Trinity: Capability-Driven RSI for Multimodal Agent Evolution

Researchers from InfRec, Xidian, Tongji, and NUS open-source The Trinity, a multimodal recursive self-improvement framework that shifts the evolutionary unit from tasks to capabilities, enabling agents to share, inherit, and continuously optimize improvements across diverse tasks, demonstrating 34.1 and 26.2 point gains on 28 training and 18 unseen benchmarks after four RSI rounds, with transfer to real robot tasks.
