GitHub Copilot Code Review Now Charged Separately: Teams Must Recalculate AI Review Costs

GitHub announced that from June 1 2026 Copilot Code Review will incur both AI Credits and GitHub Actions minutes for private repositories, turning the feature into a billable production service and forcing teams to define usage policies, prioritize high‑impact pull requests, and monitor their budgets to avoid runaway costs.
