Windows 11 Finally Revamps the 30‑Year‑Old Property Dialog

Windows 11’s preview build replaces the decades‑old property dialog, originally built on the Windows 95‑era comctl32.dll, with a WinUI 3‑based interface that supports dark mode, modern controls, and a new design language, while also updating the Run dialog and exposing legacy compatibility challenges.
