Building Ctrip's Mobile Continuous Delivery Platform (MCD): Practices and Performance Optimization

Author Bio: Zhao Xingu, senior R&D manager at Ctrip Technology Center's Basic Business R&D Department, joined Ctrip in 2013 and focuses on app framework development, performance, quality, and emerging technologies. Ctrip's travel app underpins virtually all of the company's product forms, with each product line maintaining its own mobile development team ranging from a few to dozens of engineers, all contributing features to the app.

To enable a development and testing team of over a hundred members to work efficiently and release versions on schedule, Ctrip's wireless basic R&D team created the Mobile Delivery Continuous Platform (MCD), a continuous delivery solution for mobile applications.

During the technology salon, Zhao shared, from four perspectives—development integration, testing, release, and operation—how the team gradually built the MCD platform, detailing the processes, tools, and practices that ensure reliable and rapid mobile app delivery.
