How to Quickly Access Health Code on iPhone and Android Devices

During the ongoing pandemic, quickly displaying the health code on your phone can save time and avoid awkward moments. Both iPhone and Android devices offer built‑in shortcuts to launch the health code with a single tap or voice command.

iPhone

Because the Shortcuts app is available, you can create a Siri command that opens the health code. Open the Shortcuts app, tap the + button, add an action, search for “Alipay”, and select “Open Health Code”. Disable “Show While Running”, give the shortcut a name, and finish the setup. After that, saying “Hey Siri, open health code” will instantly display it.

You can also enable the double‑tap‑back gesture (iOS 14+). First, open the health code in Alipay, then go to Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap → Double Tap and select the shortcut you just created. Now a quick double‑tap on the back of the phone launches the health code even with a case on.

Android

For Android, add a desktop shortcut to the health code via WeChat: open WeChat, go to Pay → Epidemic Health Code → View Health Code , tap the three‑dot menu, and choose “Add to Desktop”. The generated mini‑program icon on the home screen opens the health code directly.

Many Android phones also support voice assistants. For example, on Huawei devices enable Settings → Smart Assistant → Smart Voice → Voice Wake‑up . After activation, long‑press the power button and say “Alipay health code” to open it instantly.

These methods are far more convenient than navigating through Alipay or WeChat each time you need to show your health code.
