How X‑star Secured Huawei’s Cloud Innovation Award with High‑Performance User Profiling

After five months of preparation, the 2022 Huawei Developer Competition concluded on November 8 in Shenzhen. The "ShuZhi YaoXing" team, representing XingSheng YouXuan’s technology team, stood out in the cloud application innovation track, and their entry X‑star won the second prize thanks to outstanding technical capability and database innovation.

The competition, themed "Unlimited Imagination," spanned eight regions—including China, Asia‑Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East, and South Africa—attracting developers from over 40 countries, more than 15,000 participants, and 2,500 teams. It aimed to open the organizer’s technological achievements across industries, encouraging developers to use ICT to solve real problems and create value.

X‑star distinguished itself through business, commercial, and technical value. The solution addressed the platform’s user‑profile audience selection scenario, optimized selection performance, enriched Huawei Cloud’s scenario capabilities, and laid a solid foundation for further enhancing user experience.

The XingSheng YouXuan technology team’s participation was also a collaborative effort with Huawei Cloud to innovate and meet business needs. They incubated innovative applications for their own profiling platform—high‑performance selection and low‑cost audience discrimination—supporting business growth and earning recognition from expert judges.

Team member Zhang noted that the self‑developed "Xingchen" system (the profiling platform) greatly aided marketing, systematizing user‑profile configuration and management, improving campaign effectiveness while reducing costs.

Team member Huang emphasized that the profiling platform is a core module for refined internet operations, aiming for selection latency under three seconds. By aligning with industry solutions and deep discussions with Huawei Cloud, they achieved technical innovations that improved user experience and reduced costs.

Team member Zeng highlighted that the competition fostered exchanges with industry leaders, leveraging cloud computing resources to overcome technical challenges and achieve mutual benefits.
