iOS 27.2 Introduces China-Exclusive Shake-to-Jump Block and Secure Erase

China-Exclusive Features in iOS 27.2

Apple has released iOS 27.2 with two features available only on mainland China iPhones.

1. Restrict Shake-to-Jump (限制摇一摇跳转)

Settings path: Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness → Limit Motion Data.

After adding apps such as Taobao, Douyin, and news apps to the restriction list, they can no longer access accelerometer and gyroscope data. This prevents accidental shake-to-jump redirects when walking, holding the phone, placing it on a table, or riding in a vehicle.

Key behaviors observed:

Media tests confirm the restriction effectively blocks sensor-triggered shake-to-jump redirects.

Splash-screen ads still appear; the feature only stops the jump action.

Navigation and step-counting apps should not be added to the list, as they rely on motion data for core functionality.

2. Extended Erase (扩展清除)

Settings path: Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Erase All Content and Settings → Extended Erase.

When wiping the iPhone, this option overwrites the storage with blank data, reducing the possibility of data recovery. It is useful before selling, recycling, or gifting the device. The process takes longer than a standard erase and is not recommended for frequent daily use.

iPhone Duo gains Apple Pencil support.

FaceTime group calls add dual-camera mode.

Apple TV introduces multi-user profiles.

Apple Music receives a visual redesign.

Podcast queue optimization.

Phone app adds anniversary reminders.

Apple Intelligence & Siri AI

Mainland China users cannot yet access Siri AI or Apple Intelligence features; they are expected to roll out gradually starting with iOS 27.3.

Upgrade Recommendation

iPhone 16, 17, 18, iPhone Air, and iPhone Duo can upgrade immediately. Older models should wait for battery-life feedback from early adopters.

把淘宝、抖音、资讯类 App 加入限制名单后，它们就拿不到加速度计、陀螺仪数据，走路、拿手机、放桌上、乘车颠簸时不容易被“摇一摇”误触跳转。

从原理和媒体实测看，它对传感器触发的摇一摇跳转基本能做到有效拦截
开屏广告本身还会显示

2. 扩展清除
路径：设置－通用－传输或还原iPhone－抹掉所有内容和设置－扩展擦除。
抹掉 iPhone 时会用空白数据覆写存储空间，降低数据被恢复的可能。卖二手、回收、送人前很实用，但耗时更长，不建议日常频繁使用。
其他变化还有：iPhone Duo 支持 Apple Pencil、FaceTime 群聊双摄、Apple TV 多用户档案、Apple Music 视觉改版、播客队列优化、“电话”应用新增纪念日提醒等。
大家关心的Siri AI 和 Apple Intelligence，国行用户暂时还用不到，预计要等 iOS 27.3 才会逐步开放。
升级建议：
iPhone 16/17/18、iPhone Air、iPhone Duo 可以升；老机型建议先看续航反馈。
