The platform’s philosophy is “aggregate designers – improve designer efficiency – serve home‑decoration users.” It integrates designers, renovation companies, and JD’s product and model libraries, providing a browser‑based design tool that quickly generates personalized design schemes, matches products to user needs, and captures valuable data for a seamless shopping experience.

Key advantages include solving the difficulty of sourcing home‑decoration products, offering 3D‑modeled virtual scenes, enabling 10‑minute design generation, and delivering immersive VR experiences that let users make informed purchase decisions within a one‑stop ecosystem.

The platform addresses three major technical challenges:

1. Complex 3D models – large files, many polygons, and diverse proprietary formats cause slow loading. JD’s team developed an automatic mesh‑reduction algorithm and a universal format‑conversion plugin to standardize models across platforms.

2. VR production and display – existing VR suffers from graininess, latency, and high cost. The platform combines pre‑baked lighting with real‑time ray tracing, achieving 90+ fps, <15 ms latency, and 4K ultra‑clear visuals, while reducing production cost and time dramatically.

3. Rendering speed and quality – traditional single‑machine rendering takes hours per image. The platform supports parallel rendering with Physically‑Based Rendering (PBR), delivering photorealistic results in seconds.
