3. Introduction to DevOps & AIOps Assessment Standards

The "R&D Operations Integration (DevOps) Capability Maturity Model" series is led by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) together with the Cloud Computing Open Source Industry Alliance, the Efficient Operations Community, BATJ and major financial, telecom and internet enterprises. It is the first comprehensive domestic and international DevOps series standard, officially released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and widely adopted.

Since July 2020, the DevOps standard has been concluded by the ITU‑T, becoming the world’s first international DevOps standard. The overall DevOps architecture includes processes (Agile Development Management, Continuous Delivery, Technical Operations), application design, security and risk management (DevSecOps), systems and tools, business value management, collaborative development‑operations, continuous testing, performance measurement, platform engineering, and System Reliability & Continuity Engineering (SRE).

The "Intelligent Operations (AIOps) Capability Maturity Model" series, also led by CAICT, is the first international AIOps standard, finalized in December 2023 by ITU‑T SG13. The model comprises a General Capability part (mandatory items: intelligent computing engine, data management, configuration management) and a System & Tool Technical Requirements part (8 modules: anomaly detection, fault prediction, alarm convergence, root‑cause analysis, fault self‑healing, fault prevention, capacity prediction, knowledge‑base construction).
