The team also broke down data silos across the seven DevOps capability domains, fostering a DevOps culture that spreads throughout the department and elevates overall capability.

By embedding DevOps standards into an integrated platform, the project significantly boosted development efficiency. Automation of most processes increased speed, while left‑shifted testing and security scans (including artifact dependency scanning, unit tests, code scans, health checks, smoke tests, and UI automation) ensured higher quality and safety.

Key results reported by the DevOps project manager include higher test coverage, stronger automated testing, reduced defect‑fix time, lower vulnerability risk, shorter delivery cycles, and higher successful deployment rates, collectively contributing to notable quality and efficiency gains.

The “R&D‑Operations Integration (DevOps) Capability Maturity Model” series of standards, led by CAICT with contributions from the Cloud Computing Open Source Industry Alliance, Efficient Operations Community, major internet companies, and leading financial and telecom enterprises, constitute the first comprehensive DevOps standards worldwide. Adopted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, these standards have been embraced by numerous top enterprises.

In July 2020, the DevOps standard was officially concluded by the United Nations‑affiliated standardization organization ITU‑T, becoming the world’s first international DevOps standard.
